If you’ve ever asked yourself any of the following questions, you’re in the right place:
- “How can I get more done in less time?”
- “How can I have more energy and less stress?”
- “How can I get healthier, leaner, and stronger?”
Hi, my name is Pete Leibman. I’m the creator of StrongerHabits.com, and the author of Work Stronger; Habits for More Energy, Less Stress, and Higher Performance at Work.
After transforming my body at the end of high school through strength training and better eating habits, I became obsessed with seeing what else could be improved. Since then, I’ve completed a degree in Psychology at Johns Hopkins University and spent more than fifteen years studying behavior change, psychology, and high performance.
I’ve also coached people privately and taught weekly Sports Conditioning classes (I’m certified as a fitness trainer) for hundreds of people who live in the Washington, D.C. area. And, I’ve competed in fitness challenges and endurance obstacle races, including the Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) World Championships, an international event with athletes from more than forty countries.
Most of my career has been spent inside of an office, perhaps like you. For the five years before Work Stronger was published, I worked as an executive recruiter at Heidrick & Struggles, a leadership advisory firm that serves the majority of the Fortune 500. In this role, my main responsibility was to identify, interview, and assess executives for leadership roles.
Today’s world encourages chronic multi-tasking, sedentary behavior, insufficient sleep, and poor eating habits- all of which can make you less energetic, more stressed-out, and less productive. My mission is to help you overcome the challenges we face in today’s 24/7 world, so that you can become the strongest and highest-performing person that you can be.
Over the years, many people have asked me how to form stronger habits, so that they can feel better, look better, and perform better. While I certainly don’t have all the answers, I created this web site to share what I’ve learned along the way. I write articles and books that are practical, easy to understand, and based on personal experience, interviews with high performers, and analysis of the latest scientific research.
I write about a range of topics related to habits, psychology, and high performance. My core message is that you can be so much stronger than you realize: stronger physically, stronger mentally, and stronger psychologically.
How can you get stronger? Well, you don’t need more willpower, more time, or different genetics. You simply need stronger habits.
